I snapped these pics on a trip a while back. I’ve been blessed to do a good bit of travel…yet I was awed as I walked through these sites. I wondered how many people walked in the same sand during the thousands of years these places have existed and felt the same wonder I did. Kings, queens, presidents, religious figures, peasants, slaves, soldiers, tourists, ordinary people…all walked around these places in wonder…in the same sand. I think that feeling of awe is a great equalizer…
